Hello!! Welcome to my world! My name is Dillon and I’m 15 years old and I live with my mom and dad and my two brothers. I also live with Fragile X Syndrome and Autism which can make my world a complicated one at times but with family and friends like you my world is growing and is becoming more enjoyable every day!
I am passionate about elevators. I love elevators. My favorite elevators are Otis, Schindler, and Dover. I also love character balls and big balls from Walmart. I have over 50 of them all over the house! I also like to cook with my mom in the kitchen. Actually, I love to eat what my mom is cooking in the kitchen! And I now have my own cooking show online and blog called, Dillon’s World. There are a lot of nice people on my blog that write to me. They get to know me on there and then talk to me when they see me in person. It’s nice that people see me now because before I don’t think people saw me because they didn’t look at me or say hello. Maybe, they didn’t know what to say to me? I understand that because sometimes I don’t know what to say to them either. But I’m learning!
Would you like to share your world with me? What would you like me to know about your world? What are your favorite places to visit? What are your favorite foods to eat? Is there a message from your heart that you would like to share with me and others living with a disability?
You can share some of your thoughts and adventures with me by emailing me at email@example.com , subject “Welcome to my world Dillon”. Be sure to include me in your pictures, if possible, and let me know what adventure I’m on with you! I can’t wait to travel with you and learn more about your world!
Thank you again for being my friend and for being a part of my world. It’s a beautiful one when we are enjoying it together!
(Letter written by Dillon’s Mom, Jackie)
