Today Dillon and I joined team Work for All! A grassroots program that is for anyone that wants to help individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities find employment within their community.
What is Work for All?
WORK For ALL! is a local effort that evolved from Manitowoc Jobs First! and the federal Employment First initiative. The goal of WORK For ALL! is to show community support for individuals with disabilities and their families and to work with schools, agencies, and employers to increase job opportunities for ALL with disabilities in Wisconsin.
Today the lead for this amazing program, Dave Koenig, along with his ambassadors, Bradley & Nick, shared with us the upcoming 9th Annual Transitional Youth Job Fair for Manitowoc County and the request for employers within their community to become involved!
On Wednesday, April 05th, there will be an opportunity at Culvers from 8-10 A.M. for youth with disabilities, ages 16 to 25, located throughout Manitowoc County to meet with employers to find summer, part-time and full-time employment.
If you own a business within Manitowoc or the surrounding areas and would like to meet some inspiring individuals that would love the opportunity to join your team to work PLEASE CONSIDER JOINING US! There are only 28 tables left and we would love to see you there!! Click on the link below to register your business and receive a free gift from Dillon's World on that day from Dillon himself!!!
